In order to receive the discount associated with a Promotional code, you must enter the code before your ride commences. By entering the code the system knows to credit your wallet.
You can add a promo code by clicking on your menu / My wallet /
When you get to your wallet page, at the bottom of the page you can see "Have a Promo Code? Add it here"
Click the link "Add it Here"
